FAIRIES IN BED

Ingredients:
Slices of bread
100’s and 1000’s
Mini Meringues
Silver nonpareils

1. One slice of bread makes one fairy bed.
2. Trim crusts off and cut slices in half
3. Then one of the halves in 2/3 & 1/3.
4. Butter the ½ slice and the 2/3 slice. Place the Buttered half in sprinkles (this is the doona)
5. Put the pillow/doona on the buttered half.
6. Place a meringue on the pillow for the fairy’s head. I usually put two skewer holes in the meringue and put in silver nonpareils for the eyes.
